The War Declaration of Love and Death (愛と死の宣戦布告, Ai to Shi no Sensen Fukoku) is the thirty-sixth episode of Kamen Rider Black. It features the debut of the Golgom High Priests' Grand Mutant forms following the sacrifice of their stones in the previous episode.

Synopsis[]

Kotaro has nightmares about being killed by Shadow Moon, and is pained on imagining the possibility of fighting his brother. Similarly, Kyoko and Katsumi are struggling to accept Nobuhiko's change, and Katsumi runs out of the shop. While Kotaro is out riding, Shadow Moon communicates with him through telepathy. He insists that they must duel, for that is the fate of him, Shadow Moon and Kotaro, Black Sun.

Kyoko and Katsumi end up in front of the old Akizuki residence. They decide to enter to relieve fond memories, but were shocked by Shadow Moon's presence in a room. He declares that Golgom will soon control the world, but genuinely wishes to save them first as he still loves them. Kyoko refuses outright, though Katsumi has second thoughts and wishes to trust him.

Back in the Golgom headquarters, the Golgom Priests finally transform into Great Mutants. Shadow Moon names them as his commanders, and orders them to inform the world about Golgom's world domination plan. The Great Mutants wreck havoc on the city, but Kotaro arrives and manages to drive them off temporarily.
