The Reborn Cobra Man (よみがえるコブラ男, Yomigaeru Kobura Otoko), is the tenth episode of the original Kamen Rider series. As noted in the title, it features the return of Cobra Man who was destroyed by Kamen Rider in the previous episode, marking two milestones in the Kamen Rider Series, the first instance of a kaijin being revived and the first instance of a kaijin being improved or "remodeled".
Synopsis[]
Cobra Man is injected with blood from puppies and is brought back to life to continue Shocker's plan to steal national gold reserves.
Plot[]
A flyer was put up from Ayakouji Institute of Biology, for purchasing pets at a high price. This was a front used by Shocker to gather the animal blood needed to resurrect Cobra Man.
Takeshi arrives at Snack Amigo where Tobee and Ruriko were converting a child named Tooru. Tooru's dog Tarou was missing, Ruriko suggested someone stole Tarou and sold him to the Ayakouji Institute.
Tooru's dad, Koga, a detective was investigating a serial disappearance case. All the victims were last seen at the Ayakouji Institute, when the detective arrived at the Ayakouji Institute he meets Ritsuko and was ambushed by Shocker Combatmen.
At Shockers base Cobra Man is revived and is given a new mission by the Great Leader. To steal all the gold gathered at gold depository before it departs the country on the President, a ship arriving at Yokohama Harbor.
Tooru flees from Ayakouji Institute to the Snack Amigo when seeing Cobra Man. Tooru tells his story and Tobee thinks it's a new Shocker Kaijin, when Takeshi arrives and Tobee catches him up and he bult to investigate.
two of the captured citizens one being Koga was brought as test subject for Cobra Mans new powers. when Takeshi arrives at Ayakouji Institute he is ambushed by Shocker.
Cobra Man uses his fire breath to kill one of the test subjects, while Takeshi interrogates a Combatman to learn where the test site is. Cobra Man begins the test again with Koga but was interrupted by Rider.
Rider battles against Shocker, after defeating the Combatmen he battles the revived Cobra Man. While Cobra Man's was aiding Ritsuko who he injured with his own flames Tobee rescues Koga.
Tobee released the restrained Koga, Koge then attempted to arrest Ritsuko and Cobra Man but was two weak and collapsed. Koga then faints upon seeing Rider thinking he was a monster.
Rikuto was furious at Cobra Man for the burns left on her face, furiously whipping him. The Great Leader orders her to stop and stated that Ritsuko's role was over and had Cobra Man burn her to death.
At the Gold Depository Koga went over the route for the gold from the Depository to the President. Takeshi tries to convince him to stop, but Koga refuses and Takeshi is resolute in his confrontation with Shocker.
The shipment arrived at the SS President in Yokohama Harbor without incident. The gold was loaded onto the ship and was taken to the ships vault, Cobra Man appeared from within the vault and sinks the ship.
Cobra man and the Combamen tried to take the stolen gold from the sunken ship into a cave but was interrupted by Kamen Rider, Cobra battled Rider and was defeated by his Rider Reversal.
Koga and Tooru entered Snack Amigo with their new dog, Koga got received commendation for his efforts, but he was dumbfounded about the who retrieved the gold from the ship.
